Week ending 4.3.22

What a week of fun-filled activities!

On Tuesday we had a great morning celebrating St David's Day. We listened to the story of St David in Collective Worship and then marked the day by making daffodils from tissue paper. There were double celebrations as it was also Pancake Day too! After playtime, we had great fun having a Key Stage 1 pancake race. We worked in our house teams to see who could run and flip the pancake the quickest. There were a lot of pancakes that ended up on floor! We had such a fun time!

On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day. We came in either dressed up or down and brought in our favourite book to share with our friends. We also took part in a special The Masked Reader quiz where teachers disguised themselves whilst reading a story and we had to guess who they were!

In maths, we have started to look at numbers up to 50. We have been reading and writing them as well as counting forwards and backwards.
