St Andrew's Day!

KS1 celebrated St Andrew's Day by creating some artwork for our display. In 1A we scrunched blue and white tissue paper and glued these onto our flags of Scotland. We then coloured in some pictures of fish. We watched a video clip which showed us how Scottish people celebrate St Andrew's Day in Scotland.

This week we have been focusing on using capital letters for names of people and places. We identified where the capital letters need to be placed in our sentences, and had a go at re-writing them. The sentences were all related to our class story, 'Emma Jane's Aeroplane'.
