Week 2
English
We began the week with some drama based on our story, ‘The Egyptian Cinderella’. The children thought about how our main character, Rhodopis, would be feeling at different points in the story. Next, we wrote a diary entry for Rhodopis, focussing on how she may have felt.
Maths
We have started a new unit on Measure. Year 3 have been measuring in metres, centimetres and millimetres and finding equivalent lengths. Year 4 have been measuring in kilometres and metres and finding equivalent lengths.
St George’s Day
We created some wonderful dragon drawings as part of our St George’s Day celebrations.
