The children thought of fantastic adjectives to describe the characters’ feelings and personalities in the book.
P.E.
We all had great fun preparing for sports day today. We practised most of the events, javelin, bean bag balance, egg and spoon race, relay and hurdles. There was excellent participation from all children!!
ICT
The children enjoyed exploring the Scratch program to code their own short animation. They chose a background, characters and then input a code to get the character moving. Some even recorded their own voices to add to the animations.
Art: Printing:
The wonderful Mrs Mottram has been teaching our printing unit of work this half term. This week the children were making leaf printing blocks using clay. Over the year, the children have experienced using clay on many occasions, becoming more confident and skilled.
