Week ending 12.5.2023
DT: Freestanding structures:
This week we learnt about the strength in triangles and how you can find them in frame structures such as swings in the parks. We made a simple design and made a swing frame structure using triangles. A super afternoon of concentrated work with supportive classmates. Lots of happy and proud faces!
Maths: Fractions:
This week we've started our fractions work, starting with what is an equal part. We finished the week finding half of numbers. Great work 1/2B.
Science: Habitats:
We thought about what habitats allow different animals to survive. Fabulous talk. Lots of active work.
