Week 1
In Science this week the children have been learning about the digestive system. They learnt it takes six seconds from swallowing for food to enter your stomach. We recreated the digestive system using a bag with crackers, bananas and juice to represent food being churned in the stomach. Tights to represent the small intestine and a cup for the large intestine.
In PSHE the children are learning about being healthy and have set themselves challenges to increase their physical activity. Please ask them about their challenges and if possible support them at home with their challenges.
