Week 6

This week the children worked collaboratively to make their own pyramids.

In Science the children observed the effects of liquids on egg shells. The shell of an egg is made of a similar substance to tooth enamel so the children could see the effects of sugar on our teeth. One egg was placed in coke with half of it covered in toothpaste, the toothpaste protected the egg shell whilst the coke stained the other half. The children were fascinated by the effects of orange juice on the shell.
