Welcome to EYFS

Our EYFS Unit

Our EYFS unit combines our 30 place (15 per session) Nursery provision as well as a Reception intake of 45 children.

There are two classes in our Early Years. Each class is led by a class teacher who is also the key person for those children. During their time in our unit, all pupils will work with both class teachers as well as all of our teaching assistants and our Senior Early Years Educator on a range of child-initiated and adult-led activities.

Our vision for your child in the Early Years Foundation Stage at St. Paul's

We have  15 morning and 15 afternoon places available in our maintained nursery provision as part of our EYFS unit.

Children who have their third birthday before 31st August are eligible to join us from September

Occasionally we may have spaces available for a January intake (i.e. the term straight after their third birthday).

Nursery places are offered on a 'first-come, first-served' basis in the spring.

All children are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education. You will need to register your child with us for the full 15 hours.

Additionally, we do have places for those families eligible for the government's 30 hours of free childcare scheme as well as the occasional opportunity for pre-booked paid for sessions

To check eligibility for 30 hour funded places or to request an access code please contact:
