Week ending 11th February
Celebrating Chinese New Year
We started this week with a visit from a parent, Mr Yum, who told us all about Chinese New Year. We found out about lots of ways to celebrate and all of the exciting traditions.
During the week we made messages in red envelopes, some large Chinese dragons, Chinese lanterns and tried using chop sticks to pick up different materials. We also explored the traditional story of ‘The Great Race’
