Welcome to our class pages where I will endeavour to give you a feel to the learning that has taken place in class this week.

Everyone has settled fantastically. New routines have been successfully followed. Miss Curran and myself are thankful for all the good manners and kindness shown by the children. We are looking forward to the year ahead.

"Only One You"

Our first book. A lovely introduction to the uniqueness and individuality of each and every one of us.

The children have helped make a great entrance display to our class.

"Here We Are" by Oliver Jeffers.

We are enjoying all the images and writing iwithin "Here we are". We have been talking about what is amazing in our world. The children have, in pairs, prepared posters for aliens visiting our country about fabulous things to see here. We also read the book Beegu, another lovely book to start the year about friendship and kindness towards all  people. We have also enjoyed listening to "What a Wonderful World as sung by Louis Armstrong. We wrote our own version; the children wrote their own sentences! Lots of enthusiasm shown by all.
