We have had a brilliant time in 2C this week. We have been enjoying our new class story, 'Emma Jane's Aeroplane,' and have been focusing on instructional writing. At the start of the week, we explored different types of instructions that we follow and looked at their features. We made our own paper aeroplanes, had fun launching them and then wrote our own set of instructions for others to follow.

In Maths we have been focusing on time this week and learning how to tell the time on an analogue clock to the nearest 5 minutes.

With Mrs Mottram, we painted our Autumn inspired clay tiles and all the adults were very impressed by how they looked. 

We also had a visit from an artist called Libby, who delivered an art workshop based around super heroes. Our class have entered a Christmas tree decorating competition at All Saints' Parish Church in Leamington. We made lots of eye-catching decorations using paint, buttons, coloured cellophane and glitter. Here is the website link if you want to find out more.
