Week 6
We have had a fantastic week, we enjoyed learning about the volcano erupting in La Palma and the children then wrote their own news report.
In Maths we have been learning about telling the time - half past, quarter to/ past and the time to five minutes. Please practise this at home to help the children gain confidence and consolidate their understanding.
In Science we have been continuing to learn how fossils are formed and the children have made their own fossils. They made either a trace fossil or a body fossil.
In Art we learnt about Stone Age cave paintings and the children produced brilliant pastel cave drawings.
