In English the children have planned and written their own hero myth story, focusing on using adjectives and verbs to describe their hero and their monster. We have looked at building tension in a story to make it exciting and engaging for the reader. 

In Maths the focus has been capacity and volume, at home please encourage your child to read labels on bottles to consolidate their understanding of litres and millilitres. 

In Geography the children were using an atlas to locate and record cities in the UK.
