Week ending 25.5.2023
Hello everyone,
Well, what an absolutely wonderful week we had in 1A this week.
This week was super special because it was Prayer week .
Together we designed crosses and transformed our Worship Area using inspiration from our visit to church.
We received a lovely gift set from St Paul's and placed these on the table together with a Tree of Gratitude and a special box for prayer requests.
The children chose 'Bigger than Big' as their worship song and planned the artwork themselves. We decided that Neive should be chosen as the outline for God as she is our class hero and someone we also look up to.
The children were so thrilled with what they achieved-a huge team effort. Mrs Randall and I had a few tears listening to the children's comments: It's so good; I can't believe we did that; Neive looks beautiful.
It was lovely to meet many of you after a busy first half term and lovely to hear that your children have felt positive about school. Happy children always learn best.
Mr Hawkins and I are so proud of your children. They have really worked together to become a team and we are beyond proud of them.
Finally, we would like to wish Haneesh good luck at his new school. He was a pleasure to teach and we were all so sad to say goodbye.
Enjoy your half term break.
