Summer 1 starts for the children on Monday 8th April 2024. 

Reading will continue in the same format as last half term.

 If you require any further information regarding this, please see the class teachers.

It is really important that children read daily as reading is the foundations to all learning.

PE DAYS

Mondays with Mr Barnes and from Wednesdays with Mrs Lee. This Wednesday (10th April) will be our last swimming session, after that Wednesday PE will take place in school. 

P.E. kit should be worn to school on Mondays and Wednesdays this half term. If the weather is cold  and some of our P.E. sessions will be outside, please ensure your child has a school uniform jumper to wear. They may also wear jogging bottoms instead of shorts if they wish. Please see the Uniform Policy for full uniform and P.E. kit expectations.

Times Tables 

As many of you will know, all of the Year 4 children will take part in a statutory times table test consisting of 25 questions that the children have 6 seconds to answer in June. In preparation for this, we have been working on our tables in school all year but the children could also benefit from some extra work at home on them.
