Values Award

Well done to Anya our Values Award winner this week. Anya has been a super School Council representative for our class and has confidently spoken to our class and others during her time in this role.

Science

This week, 3/4B began a new unit of work, ‘Teeth and Eating’. We described the simple functions of the digestive system in humans and used a practical demonstration to show how food moves through the digestive system.

During the demonstration, the plastic zippy bag represented the stomach, the orange juice  the acid in the stomach, water the saliva and the crackers and banana the food. The tray is the body, tights the small intestine and paper cup the large intestine.
