In Maths this week the children have been learning to multiply and divide by 3. This learning could be consolidated at home by sharing cakes or sweets in equal groups of 3. 

In English the children have written their own diary extract as a character from the story Journey to Jo'Burg. We used the text We're Going on a Lion Hunt to learn about contractions eg we're and can't and prepositional language of under, over, around and through.

In Geography the children learn about lines of latitude and longitude. They used co-ordinates to locate places on a map.
