In EYFS as part of our Little Wandle phonics programme we teach the children basic letter formation. Please see the below document for further information.
As the children move through to KS1 we begin to teach pre-cursive handwriting. Again please see the document below for further information.
As children move through into KS2 we expect them to begin to write in a continuous cursive style. Please see some examples of this style below.
