Week 1
Wow! What a fantastic start to Year 2. We have been very impressed by how sensibly the children have approached all tasks set and have quickly settled into new routines. Well done!
School Council
Next week, we will be choosing a new representative for our class for School Council. Over the weekend, please could those children who are interested in this role, think about why they would be a good representative for our class and any changes they would like to see in school. We will be asking children to present to the class. Following presentations, every child will have an opportunity to vote for our new representative.

This week, we have enjoyed exploring our new story, 'In Our Hands' by Lucy Farfort. We have had lots of thoughtful discussions, where the children have empathised with the characters and reflected on some of the themes of the story.
