Week 1
ART - we started our new Art topic: Pattern printing. We had a lovely time exploring the school grounds looking for patterns in the built environment and in nature. Next, we looked at some designers and explored their repeating patterns.
On Thursday, we had a fantastic time at the huge ALIVE event, organised by the Coventry diocese. We picnicked, danced and sang with several thousand other children at Stoneleigh Show ground, with a particular highlight being the confetti canon!
Part of Friday’s fun was making Father’s Day or other cards for people we appreciate. Individual artistic flair was unleashed with great effect!
