Week 2
This week, the children have really enjoyed finding our more about rainforests. Everyone enthusiastically researched information about rainforests and produced some colourful and informative posters. We explored how figurative language is used in poetry and wrote our own sensory poems. The children also used drama to deepen their understanding of our text, 'The Great Kapok Tree' and thought of many persuasive arguments against deforestation.
