It has been a fantastic week the children have all settled in really well.

The children have enjoyed our new book Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers. They have reflected on and wrote about special places and people to them. We listened to Louis Armstrong What a Wonderful World and they wrote their own song lyrics. 

We started our new topic 1066 and beyond the children enjoyed learning about the Bayeux Tapestry and recreated a section of the tapestry.
