Thank you 1/2B:
A massive thank you to all the children in my class for being so kind, helpful and understanding towards all our new class friends. We have had quite a few changes! I'm looking forward to our Summer together and am confident our last half term will be a great half term.
English:
This week, Miss van Hasselt has been continuing our work on writing instructions by introducing the term " bossy verb" or " imperative verb". We planted a pea on Monday and used bossy verbs to write our instructions as well as highlighted features of instructional texts.
Maths:
The children have worked hard this week learning to tell the time to quarter past the hour and quarter to. Finally we spent two lessons on days of the week and months of the year. Friday, we worked outside, finding the questions to the answers!
