On Friday afternoon, KS1 had a VIP visitor (aka Mrs Newbold's Mum). She came to talk to the whole school about her memories of the Queen's coronation when she was a small child and what life was like back in those days. Before her talk the children prepared questions they wanted to ask her to find out more about the past.

This week, the children have been working hard in DT to finish and evaluate their animal puppets. Some of the children then used them as part of a role play, creating a little script to act out. They have produced some amazing work that they are very proud of. They will be bringing them home very soon for you to share in their brilliant sewing and creative skills.
