2C enjoying practical work whilst recapping capacity and volume in Maths...
Over the past couple of weeks, we have been focussing on the book The Smeds and The Smoos by Julia Donaldson in ENGLISH. This week, we have planned and written a continuation of the book, including creating a rhyming verse as a class to end it with. Before we complete our writing we always have lots of immersion activities. The pictures below show us considering a character's feelings at various stages of the story and show us acting the story out as a whole class to deepen our understanding, before writing a diary entry in role as the character we were playing.
