Week 4

Year 6 are working hard in rehearsals. 'Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies' is starting to take shape!  When not rehearsing, the Year 6's have been been reading and responding to extracts from Anne Frank's Diary in English and continuing to explore the topic of Algebra in Maths.

Year 5s have been writing their own diary entries in English and revisiting fractions and percentages in Maths.

During this week's RE lesson, the children researched how Christian organisations, such as the Salvation Army, respond to Jesus' teaching on the Kingdom of God.

In DT/Computing we have been thinking about how every day products involve electrical components and elements of computer programming. In this week's lesson the challenge was to write a sequence of computer code in Scratch to animate a character using a Pelican crossing.

In science, we were thinking about inherited features.
