This week we had World Book Day, the children looked fantastic in their costumes and enjoyed sharing a book with children from 5/6A. We read the book A River by Marc Martin and the children then drew and wrote their own ideas about what they might see from the boat as they sail down the river. They then enjoyed a drama workshop where they created their own stories through acting. 

In Geography we finished our learning about the rainforest by looking at the impact of palm oil trees on tropical rainforests. The children learnt about what palm oil is used in and how we can encourage companies to use rainforest friendly palm oil. Greenpeace has some informative videos if you would like to find out more.
