Maths & English
We spent the last week of the term consolidating place value and addition and subtraction (within 10). We carried this out by using cubes and part-whole models to complete the Christmas challenges in our maths booklet.
In English, we identified the features of an acrostic poem. We then planned the poem and had a go at writing our own.
Countdown to Christmas!
Well done to all the Year 1 and 2 children for their fantastic performance during the 'Prickly Hay Nativity'. Myself and Miss Reading were so impressed with your amazing singing and actions 
We had fun at the Christmas Fair and created decorations, used beanbags to knock the elf cups over and tried to throw the ball in the net. We used the leftover card from our Advent Wreaths to create baubles for our Christmas tree.
