In Maths this week the children have been learning to subtract 1s across a 10 by partitioning numbers and using their knowledge of multiples of 10 to subtract on a number line. They then subtracted 10s across a 100.

In English they have learnt about similes and metaphors and have written their own rainforest poems.

In ICT the children have learnt about online safety and how to tell a trusted adult if they have any concerns or worries regarding unkind messages online. They also practised using a keyboard and learning where the keys are by typing the sentence: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. This sentence uses all the keys on a keyboard.
