Week 4

We have had a fantastic week. We had No Pen Day Wednesday where the children developed their speaking and listening skills and worked practically. In Maths the children developed their understanding of division by dividing numbers of children into groups of 2, 4 and 5. They then played division dominoes. In R.E we have been learning about the Jewish celebration of Sukkot, and how Jewish families build a sukkah to remember the time in the desert. The children worked collaboratively to build a sukkah in the school grounds.

The children loved our school trip to Cadbury World. They enjoyed finding out that cocoa beans were used in the past to buy things, 10 cocoa beans could buy a rabbit! They learnt about the chocolate making process and enjoyed using the tools to temper the chocolate. They particularly enjoyed the tasting activity and choosing their own toppings. They loved the 4D cinema and it was lovely to see the joy on their faces. They all had beautiful manners and it was a pleasure spending the day with them.
