The children have come back refreshed after their break and made a great start to the last half term of Year 2. We have started our new sequence of work in English, looking at instruction writing. On Monday, the children followed verbal instructions to plant a pea and were then ready to write a set of instructions of their own.

In music, the children were challenged to create a piece of music that made the class think of a chosen animal, inspired by 'The Carnival of the Animals' by Saint-Saëns. They were incredibly creative, using a wide range of instruments to create their composition.
