Week ending 27.1.2023
English:
Lots of writing this week. Snail has been on his travels to Antarctica and to a tropical beach. We wrote letters home. The children focussed on sentences with capital letters and ending in a full stop as well as using adjectives to describe what they could see or hear. I'm so pleased with everyone's enthusiasm to write and for having the confidence to use their phonics knowledge to spell. They'll be lots of postcards home next week for great work!

Continuing our worldwide ventures, we visited Australia this week and learnt about Aboriginal dot art.
