World Book Day 2023
What a fabulous day!
Our class celebrated the joy of reading this Thursday during World Book Day. Everyone looked great in their costumes or comfortable clothes! We enjoyed a drama workshop and each child shared their books with children from 1A.
During the day, we listened to the book " A River" by Marc Martin. The book is filled with wonderful illustrations and shows the river running past many different places. Inspired by the book, children created their own wonderful pictures of new settings for the river to run through and wrote sentences to accompany their pictures.
