Week 5
This week we celebrated ST ANDREW'S DAY on Wednesday. Our House and Vice Captain, Emma and Jude, delivered a fabulous Collective Worship to start the morning off for the whole school. Years 5 and 6 then enjoyed a morning of Highland Games in their house teams - Haggis Hurl, Highland Steps, Atlas Stones and Broad Jump. The winning house will be announced in our Celebration Collective Worship on Friday - watch this space !
In English, we are using the book "Wolves in the Walls" by Neil Gaiman as a stimulus for our writing. We are focussing on using speech to convey the characters and plot of our own stories written in the same style. We have been recapping how to write speech correctly and also how to use apostrophes for possession.
Our DT projects are coming along nicely - ready to start sewing next week...
