Week 7 w/c 13.02.23
What a long and busy half term! The children have worked so hard and have been really engaged with growing their learning. I hope you all have a wonderful break - be it restful or full of family adventures - enjoy! I will look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 27th February.
Remember we are swapping groups for DT and Forest Schools - so Year5s come dressed appropriately on the 1st day back.
Last week in DT, we designed our own salads, collated a huge shopping list and sent Mrs Leng off to the shops! This week we were all very proud of the salads we made to take home to our families, alongside a family evaluation form.

During our maths lessons this week, as well as recapping solving multiplication and division problems, we have looked at recognising numbers to 2 decimal places. We had a fun active lesson with concrete resources - our place value charts and digit cards - making numbers with 2 decimal places whilst activating prior learning such as odd and even numbers, number bonds, fractions and addition and subtraction.
