Welcome to 1A! 

On our first day back, we read the book 'Mind Your Manners' by Nicola Edwards. We discussed the school rules and values. For our activity, we painted pictures of the animals from the story and used these for our whole class display. 

Maths

We used the concrete resources in the classroom and practiced sorting objects. We used both 2D and 3D shapes, numicons, pegs and counters to sort according to colour. For our challenge, we sorted the objects into odd and even numbers.
