This week, we have been learning to add and subtract two numbers across a ten and across a 100.

English

We have identified the features of persuasive writing and started to plan a persuasive letter to our M.P. regarding the deforestation of rainforests.

Spellings

We have been learning to spell words with the ‘ey’ digraph with a sound /ai/. We identified the syllable breaks and phonemes within each word. We also thought about what each word meant and used them within sentences of our own. Next week, we will complete a dictation using these words and a range of common exception words.
