Week 3 w/c 01.05.23
This week has, of course, been all about the upcoming coronation of King Charles III. This has been our focus in shared reading, English, Art and even Maths ! Culminating in our Coronation Street Style Party on Friday afternoon - a great occasion enjoyed by the whole school. Something we hope our children will remember when they reflect on this historic event in the future.

On Wednesday afternoon, we welcomed a visitor from The Allergy Badge who delivered a whole school assembly about allergy awareness. We then had a further discussion in the classroom to consolidate the children's learning and understanding of what an allergic reaction might look like, what they could do to help and how, having an allergy, can affect a child's mental well being. We also then talked about how as a school, we can help to make children with allergies feel included, whilst keeping them safe.
I sent home a fun activity sheet provided by The Allergy Badge in the hope than it would act as a conversation starter to spread awareness of allergies in the wider St Paul's family and beyond into our communities.
