Week 4
This week the children enjoyed our trip to the Ashmolean museum. They had the opportunity to hold and see a range of Egyptian artefacts including a nest of coffins, the mummy of Meresamun and a temple wall. They counted how many cartouches they could see on the temple wall and saw a range of shabti models. They were particularly fascinated by the mummified cat.
In maths they have been learning about time, including reading digital clocks and knowing am and pm times.
