Week 5
Class 2C have had a brilliant week!
We have been busy rehearsing for the Nativity and we are now confident with our lines, songs and actions.
In Maths we have been using arrays to represent multiplication and seeing how multiplication is commutative. We are still enjoying Emma Jane's Aeroplane and have been exploring storm language to write poetry using similes. We have also began gathering ideas about cities that we are familiar with in order to write our own version of the story.
Mrs Mottram has shown us how to incorporate all of our clay techniques we have learnt into designing and making a Christmas decoration. We have painted them in some special metallic paint and hopefully we can bring them home soon!
On Wednesday, we celebrated St Andrew's day and drew some beautiful thistles with Mrs Clarke. She was very impressed with how ours turned out.
Some children also went to All Saints Church in Leamington to decorate our class tree with all the super hero themed decorations we worked so hard on. If you would like to go and see our tree, along with around 40 others, then the church will be open for you to view from December 10th- 18th between 3pm and 7pm.
