Chicks!

This week, one of our chicks who we named Peggy was quite poorly. she had a broken leg when she hatched. Mrs Young who teaches in Key Stage 2 knows someone who rescues sick chicks so Peggy has gone to live there to be well looked after

our other six chicks have got a lot bigger and the children have started to hold them.

they have also been writing about the lifecycle of chicks.

This week we have had 10 chick eggs to look after. Seven of the eggs hatched and we have six healthy chicks.

we have explored the chick lifecycle and been writing , drawing and making chicks all week!

thank you to the PTA. For funding the chicks.
