Using concrete resources has really helped us this week in Maths when looking at prime, square and cube numbers...
We have begun looking at THE HUMAN BODY in Science. Skeletons and bones were the order of the day on Friday and everyone had great fun creating skeleton puzzles and labelling the bones. We recapped previous learning about vertebrates and invertebrates and the functions of the skeleton; for support, protection and movement.
In ART, working alongside our History topic this half term, we are looking at Greek Pottery. This week we learned about all the different shapes of pots the Greeks created, what they were used for and how they were decorated through the years. This week's focus was on re-creating geometric patterns - with some fantastic results ! Well done everyone
