This week in EYFS

The children have been exploring and getting familiar with the EYFS provision. They found a caterpillar in our outdoor area and we have been caring for it and learning about its life cycle. This lead to some children making bug jars and going on bug hunts. We have also been following the children's interest of The Hungry Caterpillar, they have been reading the book and having fun retelling it using the story sack.

Our tomato plants were also ready to be picked, so the children looked carefully for the red ones, picked them, washed them and then ate them!
