Poetry Basket - Leaves are falling
Leaf Man
This week we have been reading the story ‘Leaf Man’ and using this as a focus for our learning. We have been on an Autumn walk to collect leaves, used our senses to describe the leaves, used our phonics to write labels for Leaf Man and taken part in lots of fine motor skill activities such as wrapping sticks in wool and cutting out a Leaf Man.

In RE this week we have been thinking about the Harvest Service that Tom and Tessa have been to and the service that we watch next week from St. Paul’s Church.
We thought about all the fruit and vegetables that we have to eat, drew some using pastels and then learned some of the songs we will sing as part of the harvest service.
