This week the children have been busy writing their own poems about trees which we are sending to our One World Link school. The children wrote beautiful poems which were inspired by listening to the book Wangari's Trees of Peace. Wangari Maathai is a Nobel Peace prize winner due to her dedication to the environment. She founded the Green Belt Movement which has seen over 30 million trees being planted in Kenya.

In Science we have been learning about the water cycle. The children learnt about the stages and key vocabulary including evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection. 

The children really enjoyed wearing their Christmas jumpers and we had a lovely Christmas lunch together. The children had great fun playing all the games kindly set up the PTA at our Christmas Fayre.
