Week 1
This week we have enjoyed reading the text What We'll Build by Oliver Jeffers. We made mind maps exploring the word build, the children then draw and described their ideal home. The children wrote some fantastic Acrostic poems.
In Maths we have been learning about place value and learning what each digit represents in a three digit number.
In Science we have started our topic on rocks and enjoyed observing, comparing and describing the appearance of a selection of rocks, including granite, sandstone, chalk and marble.
