Welcome to the Amazing 5/6A's web page.


This will be a place where you can see all the exciting learning we have been doing and will be doing over the school year. 



THURSDAY- Swimming at Newbold Swimming Pool (Starting Thurs 13th Jan for 6 weeks)

FRIDAY - Gymnastics: come to school dressed in PE kit.



Mathletics - tasks will be set weekly for children to complete during the week.

Times Tables Rockstars - encourage children to login and regularly practise their times tables.

Reading - encourage children to read daily and record the date and pages read in their yellow homework book.

Bug Club is available to use as an online source of age appropriate texts.

  • SWIMMING:  Meet at 8:45am at Newbold Comyn Swimming Pool or meet in the front reception at 8:30am prompt to walk with Mrs Young.
  • SCIENCE:  Please can children bring wellies/old shoes and a coat to school on Monday (10th January) as we will be exploring the school wild areas as part of our new science topic - Living things and their Habitats.
  • ART: As part of our Art project this term we will be making sculptures out of corks and wire. Can you please collect and send in corks (not plastic).
