Week Beginning 14th March

We have taken part in a range of activities for Science Week and have been thinking about the theme of growth.

on Monday we talked about how we have all changed since we were born and the changes happen as we grow. There were lots of interesting comments!

Also on Monday we used magnifying glasses to look at plants and talked about what they needed to grow. We explored using charcoal and pastels to create representations.

On Tuesday we talked about how towns grow and we made maps of cities and wrote labels for them.

on Wednesday we talked in pairs about what an animal needs to survive on earth.

Thursday was very exciting as we designed creatures that could survive on Mars there were some amazing creatures!

We finished the week by finding out about trees and why they are helpful to us on earth.
