Week 5 w/e 29.05.22
Welcome to the last week of this, the Summer 1 half term, a time to reflect on all our hard work and celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. I was so proud of how all of our children persevered in completing our "special assessments" and they truly deserved to have some off timetable experiences. The week kicked off dancing through the decades, with 2C enjoying an 80s vibe. Fantastic fun was had by all - a big thank you to Mrs Newbold for organising this whole school event.

To end our Jubilee celebrations, we had a visit from some Year 6 children, who came to share their Jubilee work with us. We heard extracts from their non chronological reports about Queen Elizabeth II and admired their art piece. 2C then sang them the Queen's Jubille song we had been learning. A lovely end to a fabulous week!
