Dough Disco

This week we have begun 'Dough Disco' sessions. These are short sessions where the children develop their hand strength by manipulating play dough though exercises along to music. It's great fun. Perhaps you might like to support them at home with this. You can use a very small amount of play dough but don't worry, lots of the exercises are just as jun even if you haven't got the dough.

In time 'dough disco will help the children to develop muscle strength and coordination to  support the use of one handed tools including tools for writing as well as develop their other fine motor skills.
